I believe if cole gave up beeing the source to that wizard... phoebe and him could still be happy. they were the best couple on the show. leo and piper are just sooooo boring. no sparks there.

Such chemistry, such passion, such fire - whatever term you use, their storyline is mostly what propelled the show through what was supposed to be its biggest jump-the-shark moment in Prue's death. Would anyone else, even/especially Coop, have done anything close to the same in that situation, I ask?

Hmm… probably… not a chance.

Phoebe and Cole deserved to end things on a much higher note for both their sakes.
