Once they were inside the vault, Phoebe was completely wowed, as was Leo to a smaller extent. It was huge and filled completely to the brim other than moving and breathing room with drawers that were probably full of stuff.
"Whoa…" Phoebe walked in marvel, since this place was even more enormous than she would've figured. "Um… okay, how did they miss the part about the vault being this big? This is even bigger than those bank vaults you see in movies."
"Yeah, it really is," Leo agreed. "But we need to focus here. There's got to be some clue as to which one of these is gonna lead us to the solution. Ransacking inside every drawer is not gonna help us in any way."
"Why not? I mean, they all have labels, but no one can seriously keep a setup like this organized according to those alone. I mean, they're drawers. It's not like he can just put or take off a label on one of these and then it all just magically reorders itself by massive shimmering or something, right?"
"Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if that's exactly how he does it," Leo commented. "Now let's get looking. We don't have much time."
"Right," Phoebe concurred, as the two began checking the opposite sides of the vault and observing the labels. On Leo's end, it wasn't until the third lowest row that he started seeing labeled drawers, and after a couple of minutes, he noticed something. First several drawers were or separate material on something called "Zankou", then a little further ahead came several "Wizard" files, but it wasn't until he ran into the "Vampire files at the end of the row that he noticed the pattern.
"Wait, Phoebe, stop!" Leo instructed.
"Huh? What's the matter?" Phoebe asked.
"Take a look at this stuff. Look at how it runs," Leo said, getting Phoebe to come to him. "Okay, read back over from here until you notice something." He directed her towards the 'Vampire blood' drawer and through to the right.
"'Vampire blood', 'Vampire fang', 'Vampire flesh', 'Vampire serum', 'Vampire vanquishing', 'Veneros chain', 'Veneros spike'… wait a miunte," she stopped after reading aloud. "You're right, Leo. This stuff is in alphabetical order! I saw a whole bunch of Ms on my side, but it was mostly stuff related to money, so I guess seeing the same word every time I couldn't pick up on it."
"That's okay, but since there's Ms on your side and Vs and Ws Zs on my side at the bottom, then that must mean the As are at the top on your side," Leo deduced. "There may be some kind of elevator in here, but I don't see it, so you've gotta levitate up top to get to the solution as quickly as possible."
"Right," Phoebe agreed, levitating herself all the way up to the top. Quickly floating past all the boxes to look for "Alkaline", or at least "Al", she had to end up looking through the second highest row, before in the middle of it she found the "Alkaline solution" drawer. She opened it and found that there were actually ten of the solutions inside.
"Okay, there's ten of them! How many do you think we'll need!?" Phoebe called.
"I'd say take all ten just to be sure, but you and I both only have two hands and we don't have much time, so just take two, give them to me, and then take another two!" Leo replied. She quickly did as he asked, meaning they each now had two solution containers in hand and no idea how much time left to carry them and get the hell outta here, except it was probably less than five minutes, maybe even three.
"Well...lets hope they get here soon otherwise we'll have three dead people, to deal with in the underworld." Prue stated.
"Okay...securely hold on to the bottles Leo...come on..." Phoebe grabbed Leo as she exited the vault, and looked for some door.
"I think...that vent is the only option out of here....Phoebe take these bottles and get out of here...." Leo gushed Phoebe towards the vent.
"No way...stupid...look i'll admit i've never levitated with anyone so you have to grab on to me tight...ok" Phoebe bellowed, as Leo grabbed onto her quickly. "Here it goes..." Phoebe generated a lot of force, as she slightly hoovered midway. "Come on!" Phoebe generated more power as Leo reached the vent, with Phoebe hanging on for her life. "We only have a minute...Leo get out of here take-
"Dont even think about it...we are BOTH going to get out of here with the potion, and with us alive. So hang on..." Leo tried pulling Phoebe but struggles, since his hand was occupied with the potions as well. "Hold on tight..." Leo instructed as he slid backwards, causing Phoebe to fall with him into the laser room. "Ok...we have to get out of the laser room..." Leo told.
"Come on..." Phoebe tried unlocking the door but it wouldn't budge....we only have 30 seconds...Prue Piper..." Phoebe shouted with her might.
"Phoebe....Move aside..." Piper waved her hands as her powers had no affect, on the laser room door.
"What we going to do?" Paige panicked.
"Move aside...I think my demonic powers should work since this is the Alpha lair, which was built with demonic powers..." Cole suggested as he sent a large massive fireball pierced throught the door.
"My whitelighter sensed are telling me something..." Leo told Phoebe.
"What?!" Phoebe exclaimed.
"Just duck" Leo commanded as he pulled Phoebe down. " Ok nows are chance let get out..." Leo pulled Phoebe over the firey wall.
"You made it!" Prue cheered as she hugged her sister. "About time too...look" Prue pointed towards the door, as it regenerated as caused an explosion inside, "You lucky angel..." Prue smiled.
"No time to waste...i think its about time Derrick got his potion..."Leo said with care.
"Your right..." Phoebe responded...as both she and Leo carefully put the four bluish solutions next to Kyra. "I think he needs his friend to do it now...." Phoebe smiled.
"You know...i'm glad you told me all that brotherhood stuff..." Phoebe hoovered over to Cole.
"Why? You were actually listening?" Cole mocked. Earning him a little punch to his arm from Phoebe.
"Of course i was...and the big password required all the names of the brotherhood...it was pretty scary in there" Phoebe signed in relief.
"Come here...." Cole commanded as Phoebe grabbed onto him. "I'm glad your ok...you know some people were worried about you..." Cole stated not mentioning names.
"Where one of them you?" Phoebe grinned.
"Maybe...i keep things secret you see.." Cole laughed as he clinged onto her harder.
"Piper...what happened to your head...you got a injury..." Leo said with concern.
"Really i have..?!" Piper said sarcasticly. " Just like you almost gotten yourself killed...sometimes i think it's that you want to die..." Piper bellowed.
"It's okay...i think someone...needs a doctor..." Leo smiled, as Piper slightly smirked.
"Stop with the romance...and just tell me if the potion is working or not..." Tarkin quickly cut off.
"Ok...were going to find out now..." Kyra hoped as she poured the alkaline solution, down Derrick's throat.

As Derrick took in the solution and it coursed through his veins, he felt the searing, burning pain of the acidic blast start to subside, eventually to the point that he was actually able to draw a decent breath. The new breathing room came in such a jolt that he would end up raising his head slightly off the ground. Right as she noticed this, Kyra sighed in relief with a brief smile, then turned to the others.
"It's working," she reported.
"Looks like he'll be fine," Leo concluded with a smile as he turned to Piper. "Now, let's get that head wound taken care of."
"Uh huh, see, let's worry about that when we know for a fact that Derrick here is gonna love- I mean live," Piper tried to admonish Leo, while all along he wasn't listening, as putting a hand over her head and healing her anyway was too important to do so.
"Just a second; love? What are you talking about?" Prue questioned, noticing Piper's gaffe, which the latter was taken aback by realizing right away.
"Either guess internally like I'm doing or don't worry about it," Piper replied to swiftly cover it up.
"I'd say he needs another one. It's a good thing you guys packed extras," Cole supposed, bringing thr group's focus back on the man to heal.
"Right," Kyra agreed as she took another solution tube and poured its share of the blue liquid down Derrick's throat. This time it was easier to swallow, and within seconds the pain went down to where he could take a fluid gasp of air and then breathe normally, panting as it was. As soon as he noticed his improved condition, he turned to Kyra and flashed her his smile.
"I don't think I, can move too much yet, but, I'm glad to be about," he was able to speak. She broke into a grin at hearing what he had to say.
"Welcome back to the land of the physically able," Tarkin greeted him with a slight attempt at a welcoming smile. "From the looks of you, it seems one more swig should do the trick."
"Thanks," Derrick acknowledged. "Hey Kyra, could you get me another?" He reached out his hand as he asked, intending to fully drink it himself. Seeing this, she quickly nodded and "mm-hmm"ed as she handed him another one of the solutions, which he drank in about as quickly as one would the last remaining juice in a cup. Once he felt his insides fully calmed back to normal, he took in and puffed out a large breath to show that he was fine. He tried to pick himself up, but quickly found that it would be a bit of a strain from this surface right now.
"No, you need to rest up a bit," Kyra advised him, to which he stopped and looked at her again.
"Yeah, you're probably right," he admitted. "I'm just really glad I could make it." Full grins slowly came back onto the both of them, which led to a joyful yet tight embrace.
"I'm so glad you're okay," she honestly confessed. As the rest of the group smiled at the scene as well, Prue and Piper looked at each other, Prue's face indicating that she was beginning to see what her sister probably meant, with Piper's response of finger-to-lips saying yeah, but keep it quiet.

"Leo...can you heal him? He's still got that cut on his stomach, now he's better you should be able to heal him..." Phoebe brought the topic back in place, earning a nod from Leo as he slowly put his magic hands over Derricks scar, and in a matter of few minuted his stomach was alright, Leo went to heal Paige and Prue aswell.
"...Phoebe...where did that scar come from? And that one? And that one?" Piper said in worry, as she looked at the scars on her face, her arms and a large scar on her leg. "Well you sure want to stay injured don't you?" Piper nagged.
"...Piper we have more important issues...so you don't have to tell Leo to heal me...i am perfectly fine and capable of doing normal things..." Phoebe went on and on, running out of ideas.
"Leo...just heal Phoebe's scars..." Paige commanded, earning a glar from Phoebe as Leo healed all her scars.
"Now that problem's sorted...i think we should go back to somewhere safe....any ideas anyone? You know until everyone's healed...we can't go against the brotherhood..." Prue confidently said.
"...Well...we have a safe lair...up there with the elders...but i'm not sure...if they will allow demons to stay..." Leo distinctively stated.
"You know what...your going to orb us up there...and there going to let us stay...if they are all about the greater good... they they will let us ALL recover got it? Let's go..." Piper said infruriatedly. As Piper held on to Leo, and Prue held onto Paige, Phoebe held onto cole, Kyra helped Derrick up, and Tarkin offered support; as they all orbed/shimmered up there.
"...Leo...what are you doing up here? Why have you brought the witches...and especially demons up here?" Zola asked in surprise.
"...Well the brotherhood and the source of all evil are trying to kill us and everything good...we risked are buts trying to find an ancient potion to save Derrick here, i almost got killed, Leo almost got killed everyone is injured in some state...now we need to recover before we enhance into battle, unless you want the "greater good" to die you better let us ALL stay up here understand? Including these witches and demons..." Phoebe debated.
"...I understand Phoebe...but you must understand...you cannot stay here for long though..." Zola reasoned.
"Yes...we wouldn't want to be here anyway...." Piper referring back to the elders trying to separate her and Leo, as Zola left them alone.
"I hope he has a good rest...i mean we have a huge battle ahead..." Kyra signed.
"Don't worry your BOYFRIEND, is going to ok...so you dont have to worry since you gave the antidote to your BOYFRIEND..." Phoebe smiled, emphasising the word boyfriend.
"...Boyfriend..?" Kyra blushed in denial. "He's not my boyfriend, Derrick's a very good friend how about your BOYFRIEND Phoebe?" Kyra asked turning the tables.
"Boyfriend....? What boyfriend...? I don't have a boyfriend... Stop talking nonsense Kyra..." Phoebe hesitated.
"I mean Cole..." Kyra indicated getting a reddish look from Phoebe. "Don't tell me you forgot all the things you said before..." Kyra smirked.
"You know...we should focusing on what really matters here...how Derrick's going to get better," Phoebe avoided the subject.
"Don't talk nonsense Phoebe...he's resting we want to know what you said BEFORE...about you know who..." Prue mocked.
"What...did you say?" Cole questioned, earning a smirk from Kyra; Prue; Piper and Paige.

"Okay, this is getting ridiculous," Tarkin abruptly expressed, not in the least interested in the romantic banter that was going on at the moment.
"Huh? What? Come on, we're just having fun here," Paige contended.
"I don't think Tarkin's the kinda guy that considers this fun," Leo explained.
"Thank you. At least someone has enough sense to realize that," Tarkin acknowledged somewhat smugly.
"But did you really have to ruin it now? I was just about to get a compliment," Cole half-jokingly complained.
"Sorry, Belthazor, but I'm more interested in the premonition from before that Phoebe said she had about Serkan," Tarkin replied, the sudden recall surprising the others.
"Wait, what premoni…" Phoebe stopped as she realized what he was talking about. "Oh, you mean that one?"
"Yes, that one. You know, the one before we got to Alpha Lair of something terrible happening if we didn't get there and get the solution in time," Tarkin clarified for her, and for the benefit of anyone else who maybe didn't catch on yet. "So unless I can assume you did just mean what would be his death, what was it that you saw?"

"...Well...besides his death i saw me and Leo trapped, and the laser cutted us up, and that vault room activated an alarm, which meant the brotherhood found us and started killing you guys...." Phoebe whispered lowering her head.
"Lucky...you got out in time...otherwise everyone here would be dead..." Prue said unpleasantly, disgusted at the thought.
"Well...lucky enough...so how long until Derrick wakes up Phoebe?" Piper asked, "You know try to get a vision of him or something..." Piper said in boredom.
"I cannot get a vision whenever i want...and he need's a couple of hour's rest, i think we all need some rest before we go off to kill the brotherhood's sorry butt." Phoebe said with determination.
"Yeah...that's great...right now i want to talk about something other than demons you know, so i can have a good rest...and Phoebe i think you should change your clothes aswell." Paige instructed.
"That's it...im getting out of here..." Tarkin signed.
"Where you going?" Prue quizzed.
"Some place quiet...so i can rest in peace...i'll be back in half an hour..." Tarkin responded.
"Anyway...what's wrong with my clothes?" Phoebe cluelessly asked.
"Well...jeez i dont know because there's hole's everywhere...and that's the source's hand picked dress..." Prue sarcasticly said. "Now that mr no fun is gone that brings be back to the BOYFRIEND thing...why don't you take your BOYFRIEND...with you to pick out a dress..." Prue smirked.
"Seriously? Where back to this boyfriend thing? Prue this ain't funny anymore...and nothing's wrong with my dress..." Phoebe moaned.
"Come on Phoebe where having fun...we will focus on the demons later...for now i just want to mock you...it's our hobby..." Prue laughed, as she tried to have fun for the amount of time she could, until the battle.
Re: This is Destiny « Reply #141 on Nov 8, 2009, 5:54pm »
"Really? Mocking me is a hobby? That's not a very nice to treat your little sister, you know!" Phoebe protested, seeing what Prue was doing and immersing herself in the role.
"Sorry, but I get automatic rights to little sister status every time I'm in the room, and I'm enjoying this," Paige placed her two cents in. "Matter of fact, I think I'll join in. I wouldn't be saying this yesterday, but I think you and Cole would have a very fun time shopping together."
"Okay, well in that case, if I may play devil's advocate for a minute," Piper interjected, "then I don't think Cole should be going with Phoebe to pick out her new clothes."
"Huh? Why not?" Paige asked.
"Because, then that ruins the surprise," Piper reasoned. "Cole's probably the kind of guy that wants to be wowed, surprised, and introduced to something new every time he sees his girl. Seeing the outfit beforehand might just ruin that aura for the day, or the night, or whatever."
"Yeah, but on the other hand, he can pick out any outfit he wants and just imagine her in it until he actually sees her with it on," Prue countered, before realizing the "error" in that. "Wait, come to think of it, that's not necessarily such a good thing."
"Guys, seriously! I'm right here!" Phoebe tried to stop it.
"No, I'm not kidding. Think about it, Phoebe. He could easily just pick something out that he knows will make him look at you and wanna throw you down on the floor, and who knows where things could go from there?" Prue continued on anyway, joyfully teasing the possibilities. Clearly it was working, as Cole started actively laughing and Phoebe had this shocked look on her face like Prue was sending her a ticket to the dean's office at Cambridge.
"That settles it. Prue, when you get a boyfriend, I am so humiliating you in front of your boyrfiend!" Phoebe threatened.
"Oh, so you're finally admitting that Cole is your boyfriend?" Prue took the opportunity to surmise.
"I never said that! Besides, how could he be? We've only known each other for one day!" Phoebe countered.
"Yeah, but it was a hell of a day," Paige pointed out as the understatement of the year. "Few more like that, I wouldn't be surprised to see you guys tie the knot within a week or two."
"Paige!" Phoebe quickly bellowed in embarrassment, to which the superfabulous hybrid happily giggled and grinned.
"Actually, I've got an idea," Leo decided to chip in. "I think Phoebe should go shopping with Kyra."
"Wait- me? You can't be serious. Didn't I just say that Derrick and I aren't-"
"No, no, no, no, no, just hear me out. If I'm to guess correctly, you're probably lacking in any sort of human clothes, right?" Leo cut off Kyra's objections. Once assured that this wasn't a boyfriend-teaser joke and seeing his point, she nodded to answer his question. "Good. So, are you really gonna stay in that outfit all your life? Because if you're gonna live up in the mortal world with the rest of us, I really don't think that's gonna work out."
"Wake up. Your lair's already been turned into a hot spot for a trap, regrettably thanks to me, so what's to say the Brotherhood won't try something if you stay back there like nothing happened?" Cole reasoned. "You need to pick up a spot on the physical plane with the rest of us, whether Saint Callobays, the Halliwell Manor, my apartment, or wherever, and move everything there."
"Which, again, means you're gonna need new clothes," Leo repeated.
"Okay, I think she gets it," Piper admonished him.

"...And i think...i should help someone...and myself choose some clothes before my sister's try to pull a fast one on me..." Phoebe quickly said in embarassment.
"Now...why would you think...we would do that?" Prue asked in amusement, obviously loving the embarassed look on Phoebe's face.
"Let's go Kyra..." Phoebe instructed, as she held onto the seer, as they shimmered out to some shops.
"So...what do we do now? You know that Phoebe's gone...who shall we choose next?" Piper asked Prue.
"Let's let Paige choose..." Prue said with a hidden smirk.
"What?!" Paige asked in surprise.
Meanwhile, Phoebe and Kyra shimmered into one of the shops hidden. "What exactly do people here wear?" Kyra quizzed not knowing anything about the everyday clothes.
"Well...we don't wear seer clothing for sure...how about dresse's this shop doesn't exactly sell things...never mind you won't understand...ok you go over to the changing rooms and i'll give you some dresses that you can fight in and impress Derrick..." Phoebe murmured.
"I told you....i'm not his girlfriend..." Kyra denied, as Phoebe passed over some dresses. "Phoebe...how many of these am i supposed to try on?" Kyra questioned.
"All of them...i'll tell you which on suits you...ok so try away..." Kyra continously tried on dresses, "Too long" "Toon short" "Too ugly" "Too big..." Phoebe commented
"It's only clothes just choose one damn woman..." Kyra said in frustration.
"Ohh...now that one suits you...wait till....you know who looks at that..." Phoebe smiled as Kyra tried on a Beutiful rouched chiffon evening dress with beads and satin detail. "Ok...do you have money? No doesn't look like it how much is it?" Phoebe questioned. "Woow....$15,000" Phoebe said in shock.
"That's bad right? Forget it lets-
"Wait let's buy it we have more than enough money...to spend on both yours and mine outfits..."Phoebe grinned.
"Are you crazy?" Kyra asked in shock.
"Yep...since this is Prue's wallets...and she gave this to me to SPEND since she teased me so much, this is revenge. Ok...take it off...and put it in a basket..." Phoebe instructed as Kyra got changed and did so.
"Now...what's my style....ohh that dress is shiny im trying this one on tell me what you think of it..." Phoebe quickly slipped into to a crystal-encrusted Dolce & Gabbana dress.
"It really does suit you...how much is it?" Kyra asked something that nice must be expensive surely.
"Ohh...it's $35,000...where did Prue get this money from? Oh well, more for us...." Phoebe quickly got changed and bought the dresses.
"How long do you think until we face the brotherhood?" Kyra asked.
"In due time...but right now...i just want to relax before i go to a huge battle don't you?" Phoebe asked as Kyra nodded her head in agreement, as they exited the shop and shimmered back up to the elders.
"It sure took you long enough to get back..." Cole stated.
"Well...you know what they say...it takes time to buy something good...Prue here's your wallet...." Phoebe snickered, as Prue was faced with an empty wallet.
"T...the money?" Prue asked in shick.
"Well...we spent it on the dresses...think of it as a gift...you teased me and now i tease you with empty cash fun isn't it?" Phoebe smiled. "Now if you don't mind me and Kyra are going to get changed....you won't miss us right Prue?" Phoebe and Kyra both hopped off giggling about the situation.
"Serves you right Prue...i told you...but you didn't listen...i told you Prue don't give Phoebe your wallet...but you did now all we have to find out is what they spent it on..."Piper casually stated

Seeing that one of many sisterly banter arguments was about to break out, Cole (who merely supposed it was many) and Leo (who'd actually seen it) turned to each other nervously.
"Um…" Cole started carefully, just to be certain the sisters wouldn't hear him - which fortunately they didn't, as Prue was busy complaining about how Phoebe needed to understand money doesn't literally grow on trees while Piper and Paige tried to explain to her that she got too cocky and what just happened was fair game. "I think we might wanna get outta here for a little bit."
"Yeah, I… kinda, have to agree with ya," Leo seconded with equal caution in his voice. "Where do you have in mind?"
"I say we find Tarkin. I have a good idea where he might've gone to," Cole suggested.
"Oh, yeah, Tarkin. That's a good idea, I've actually been meaning to talk to the guy," Leo revealed.
"Well then, since, we agree on that," Cole said as he placed a hand on Leo's shoulder, then shimmered with him out of the heavens and all the way back down to the Alpha Lair entrance. Sure enough, Tarkin was sitting on a nearby pillar and appeared to be in thought.
"Nice to know I can find you outside this place as usual," Cole cleverly announced his presence as he and Leo approached the revived demonic enforcer, who stood up to meet them.
"I see playing giggles upstairs has finally broken your nerves, Belthazor, but I'm surprised the same goes for the whitelighter," Tarkin observed with an amused smirk coming on.
"No, they're not so much giggling as arguing about Phoebe spending all the money Prue gave her on a couple dresses," Leo explained. "But anyway, this is a good opportunity. You and I need to have a word."
"Really?" Tarkin asked. "What about?"
"I'm gonna just get straight to the point," Leo declared. "I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt because you're a friend of Cole's, which is why I didn't wanna have this discussion in front of the sisters, but I wanna know exactly where you stand. Give me a good reason why I'm automatically supposed to trust you."
"Why would I betray the family that I need to survive?" Tarkin replied.
"No, you don't need the family to survive, you need Cole to survive. There's a difference," Leo countered.
"Yes, and he brought me back to be a part of the family because he's become one of your own through love interest, so in a roundabout way I do need the family to survive," Tarkin reasoned.
"So what happens if God forbid you see any sign that makes you think Phoebe and Cole are about to fall out? What's to tell me that you're not gonna turn against us at that point?"
"Hey, I'm standing right here," Cole finally interrupted, grabbing Leo's attention. "And you're barking up the wrong tree here."
"No, this is a good question," Leo contended. "As much as I hope you and Phoebe work out together, nothing is guaranteed in this life, not even premonitions as Phoebe and Kyra can tell you. There's no reason to think that at the slightest bit of anything that's not working that he won't try to put you two against each other and turn you and himself against us."
"Look, since I brought him back he's been nothing but a huge help to all of us, so why question him now?" Cole argued.
"Belthazor, relax. I can speak for myself," Tarkin insisted, silencing Cole before he turned to Leo. "Okay, then. I'll give you that reason. Simply put; you have none. Not at this moment, anyway. But we haven't even gotten to that bridge yet to cross, and I'm just getting used to the idea that a demon can act on the side of good and even experience some of the feelings associated with goodness without limiting themselves. More importantly, it doesn't matter whether Belthazor rests on the side of good, or evil, the rules are still the same; if he is ever vanquished, I automatically join him and go back to that wretched demonic wasteland without ever being laid a hand on. Why would I want to engineer Belthazor, who works best when he feels what he's doing, into a battle of my will against the Charmed Ones?" As he went on, he could see through Leo's nods that the whitelighter was understanding his reasoning and seeing what he was saying: that there was no point or gain whatsoever to any active betrayal on his part.
"So maybe, on the day that union begins to falter, I'll let it work itself out without posing any influence, or perhaps I'll even be the one to keep it together," he continued to suggest. "I understand that it's my judgment of Belthazor's relationship with Phoebe that has you concerned rather to the relationship itself, but this notion of demonic goodness and free will that I've been thoroughly introduced to of late thanks to Belthazor has my definite interest. Moreso than any gains I could make for an hour off an act of betrayal and have no time to enjoy by virtue of answering dogmatically to the Source and having the Halliwell coven hunt me down. So you can rest assured I won't be stabbing you in the back, even if for no other reason than because it does nothing for me."
Cole looked across between the two men, hoping that this was getting through to Leo. It appeared to be doing so, as Leo had his head down as if in thought about what he was saying. Seconds later, Leo would nod in Tarkin's direction, as if coming to agreement with him.
"Yeah," Leo said. "I think I understand you, and as long as you mean it, I have a feeling we'll be getting along just fine. Expect me to hold you to it, though."
"Wouldn't expect any less," Tarkin smiled.
"Hey, wasn't there one solution bottle we didn't use on Derrick or take with us?" Cole suddenly remembered.
"Hold on, you're right," Leo realized, as he started to look for it and soon saw it was across from the trio. "There it is." He said as he went over and picked it up, then returned to them.
"I think the latest Halliwell banter session should probably be over by now," Cole guessed. "In which case now's a good time to get back up there."
"I wouldn't count on it quite yet," Leo stated, "but we should probably go back before Piper notices we're gone and gets worried sick. Hey Tarkin, you coming with?"
"Wha? Oh… right. Well, I guess I could endure a little, even if just to see how our double-edged friend is doing," Tarkin accepted.
"Alrighty, then," Leo sounded off as he put each hand on one of their shoulders, "let's go." And thus he orbed back up to the Heavens with the rebel section of the Brotherhood.

"I...can't believe it...she thinks money grows on trees wait till she gets a job she will learn the horrors of getting older..." Prue grinned.
"Yeh...Prue...whatever you say..." Piper responded not listening, as she saw Leo orb back; "Where did you go?! You know it's not nice to leave your wife stranded during the war of the oldest and the 2nd youngest sister..." Piper raged.
"I went to get a drink...you know how thirsty these men can be right?" Leo lied trying to get Cole to play along.
"Umm...yeah right...you know me thirsty as a cow..." Cole casually lied.
"What's going on? Why's it so noisy? Where's Kyra?" Derrick questioned, clearly awake from deep slumber.
"Well...your GIRLFRIEND and PHOEBE...went on and emptied my whole wallet. If this is her idea of a joke then she's dead meat..." Prue frowned.
"Sorry...to say this but we have given you enough time up here..." Zola apoliged.
"It's ok...we were going anyway let's hope Phoebe and Kyra are done..." Piper hoped.
"Let's just dump the money hogger..." Prue moaned.
"I heard that Prue...i already told you...that you started this mess...with the whole boyfriend thing...what goes around comes around you know..." Phoebe pulled her toungue out at Prue...as everyone looked at Phoebe and Kyra in surprise. "What? Oh Derrick's away Kyra..." Phoebe pointed out to her friend.
"It still look's like your sister is angry...im going to save myself...." Kyra quickly stated, receiving a what the hell? Look from Phoebe. "This was all Phoebe's idea not mine..." Kyra quickly stated.

"Hey, that's not fair!" Phoebe objected as Kyra shimmered away. Derrick laughed, as usual getting a kick out of Kyra's tricks (unless it was him caught in the game). Well, that and he couldn't believe she was out of her seer clothes for what was probably the first time ever.
"She's right, though, it kinda was your idea," Piper seconded, somewhat siding with Prue if inadvertently at that. "You're the one who went crazy with the money."
"She started the whole ragging-on-people-about-boyfriends thing!" Phoebe countered roughly while pointing to Prue, but then suddenly caught notice of Leo and started to smirk.
"Huh? What's the…" Leo stopped; he realized exactly where she was going with this. "What? Hey, no, you can't blame me for this. I didn't tell you yo squander Prue's money on designer dresses!"
"No, but you were the one who suggested I take Kyra shopping. So if anything, it was your idea that started all this!" Phoebe reminded him.
"Wait, so this means we're blaming Leo now?" Paige summarized.
"Wait a minute, did… did we just get… Prue and Phoebe to agree on this?" Cole realized aloud.
"We? Who's we? You didn't even say anything!" Phoebe came back with a wide grin.
"Ah- actually, no. Nobody did. You see, Prue," Leo started, "was the one who gave Phoebe the entire wallet, suggested she go pick out a dress with Cole in the first place, and endlessly rounded her up about it. So, now that we remember that, we're back to saying that Prue opened up that cookie jar all by herself."
"All by myself? That is so not fair! Well, if that's the case, then I'm blaming everyone here!" Prue unabatedly accused.
"Who, me? Don't look at me, sister, cause I didn't do nothin'," Piper quickly excused herself.
"Ditto," Paige seconded that for her own sake.
"Can't blame me. I was sound asleep," Derrick stated matter-of-factly.
"Maybe this wouldn't have happened if the money killer girls weren't trying to impress you and Cole," Prue retorted.
"Uh… did I know that? No. So it doesn't matter, I'm still blameless," Derrick countered.
"Innocent bystander," Cole stated his case.
"Not even here," Tarkin did so as well.
"Cole, you could've nipped this in the bud by saying no, but no, you had to stand there laughing at all this like a clown. Now I'm out of money!" Prue complained again, still trying to place her grumbles on Cole.
"He also could've exacerbated it by saying yes, but he didn't do that either," Tarkin nullified that attempt.
"So? That's like saying Hitler could've killed twice as many Jews and three times as many people, but that doesn't mean the Holocaust didn't happen," Prue argued completely out of left field.
"Okay, low blow. Let's go already before you get too ego-crazy," Piper stated, holding onto Leo while Phoebe came over to Cole.
"Good call, Piper," Paige said as she quickly put an arm around Prue. The group all orbed/shimmered back to the Saint Callobays apartment, where the Book of Shadows was lying on the ground and Kyra was looking down at it.
"Hey!" Piper shouted as soon as she saw the scene, then went to pick up the book and admonish Kyra. "what are you doing? This is a sacred book. Nobody told you that you could touch it. What made you think that you could touch it, huh missy?"
"Guys, relax," Kyra defended herself. "I was just trying to take a look inside, but when I tried to touch it, it suddenly fell down on me. Every time I go down to pick it up, it moves away. What's going on?"
"Uh… to all friendly demons in here; don't take this personally, but the book protects itself against all evil, and techincally, well…" Paige stopped there, leaving the others to fill in the blanks.
"It still counts us that way?" Derrick guessed incredulously.
"Yep. Sorry," Paige shrugged.
"We're gonna have to find some way to kinda create a magical contract to ensure the trust between ourselves and you guys so the book knows we're on your side," Cole suggested, earning stares from the sisters. "When… you guys, are… comfortable with it, of course."
"Well played, Cole. You just saved your own ass again," Piper informed him with her trademark "happy death grin" on.
"Decision time," Tarkin cut into the fun. "Do we prepared to go after Raynor and Vornac today, or do we set everything back to the Manor for the time being?"

Piper thougt, "Prue, do you think we should go after them now? We need this over and done with he has tried to kill us. Kidnapped Phoebe and tried to kill our friends. I want him dead!"
Prue frowned, "there are enough of us to from a decent plan. We have both witch powers and demon powers so we can come at them from both sides andhave a power of three spell. I'd say let's do it but only with a plan-we'll have to make potions too".
Sorry its so short I start work on sat and I'm trying to get organised. I will try and post as often as possible. I am really enojying this RP and reading your posts.

Thanks, Chan. And don't worry, real life takes precedence anyway, we understand. Looking forward to see more of your inputs when you're ready.
"Yeah, but at the same time we can't let it control our lives," Paige reasoned. Piper and Prue looked right at her, trying to see the point she was making. "I mean, Phoebe's lucky she doesn't have any Uni classes today, and Piper, you run P³ at night, but I've got Magic School to teach, and if I understand it right, Prue and Cole, you two already have paying job you're kinda late for. Plus I don't think the rest of our demon friends even have a place to stay right now."
"All good points, but what's to say that even trying to get set up won't suddenly give them the opportunity to come after us again?" Piper asked. "I'm ready to be seriously proactive here, because this crap the Brotherhood and the Source have been doing as of late has got to stop."
"Nobody's asking you to wait until you get pregnant or something before we get these guys. That would be ridiculous," Phoebe put her ten cents in. "But with everything that's happened to us in just one day, we need some time to regroup. You still need to call your assistant and find out how everything went at P³ last night. If we have to do this today, at least give it until this afternoon or something, after we've had time to make sure nobody's gonna be getting fired or evicted and our demon friends can call someplace home. Not to mention that if I'm gonna know whether or not I can call Cole my boyfriend instead of letting Prue think she knows first til the cows come home, we have to be able to get some quality time together that doesn't involve hunting demons." Cole and the rest of the demon allies now fed her stares. "Um… hostile demons, that, hate us and answer to the Source?"
"Better," Cole smiled. "And yes; I do agree, about everything. Knowing Raynor and Vornac, if they have any reason to believe they have us obsessed with taking them, they'll take advantage of it and exacerbate it to the point it does take over everything we do and then use that again. But if they see that we're completely slighting them, they'll try and take-"
"They'll try and take advantage of that too to try and kill or torture us," Piper finished for him. "So what, we're taking the live-vigilant approach now?"
"I guess so," Leo stated with an approving nod and smile.
"Great! Paige, Prue, you guys head back to the Manor, do the objection-become-but-a-dream thing, Prue to 415, Paige to Magic School, get started from there," Phoebe hurried them.
"Okey-dokey," Paige accepted the order, putting an arm about big sister Prue, completely ready to orb back to the Manor with her, except-
"Wait," Prue interrupted. "What about the plan to attack the evil half of the Brotherhood?"
"We'll call you if we come up with anything. Though, I'm guessing you'll probably be the one to do so instead from your photo lab," Phoebe replied. "Anyway- Piper, you talk to Rachel and get updated on your club already. Leo, check with the Elders and get their two cents. When you're both done with that, it's potion time for the two of you."
"And what are you gonna do?" Leo asked.
"Oh, yes! Last but not least, Cole's company of good demons and I will be discussing living arrangements," Phoebe finalized. "And writing spells."
"And sharing love stories?" Prue couldn't help but to quip again.
"Prue, I hear your bank account calling my name. Don't tempt me," Phoebe remarked, quickly reminding her what happened during her last session of careless cupid teasing.
"Paige, get me home!" Prue quickly ordered.
"Alrighty," Paige pronounced with a shrug, then orbed with Prue back to the Manor at last.
"So, not counting the obvious head start sisters, is everyone set?" Phoebe asked.
"Yep," Piper chipperly noted on behalf of all others remaining.
"Awesome!" Phoebe quickly exclaimed, concluding her directing trip. "So, let's get started."

"Wait...wait! Not so fast Phoebe...what shall we do?" Kyra asked in anticipation.
"Well...." Phoebe looked over at Derrick and Kyra..."Why don't you fill Derrick in on what he missed...when he was on the ground with acid in his system...and i think it would be useful...for two people who are familiar with the underworld...with the help of joykiller...to map out the underworld and write the do's and don't and where to get in where to get out..." Phoebe said referring to Tarkin.
"...Joykiller? Wow...look at that...i have a new nickname..." Tarkin saractically said in joy.
"Ok...i'm going now...Leo your coming with me..." Piper grabbed her husband and her purse, and her car keys.
"....Piper? You do have...your cellphone on your...right?" Phoebe asked hopefully, receiving a blank look from Piper.
"Of....course i do...i'm not stupid Phoebe...i need to get some tissue...." Piper quickly ran upstairs and grabbed her cellphone, and came back down.
"Where's your tissue Piper?" Phoebe grinned in victory.
"In my bag!" Piper quickly responded..."Come on Leo...we do not want to destroy their couple time..." Piper rushed out the manor.
"Piper...i need to check with the elders..." Leo said as he orbed out.
" Its ok...since i cant wait for Prue to come...and to see what other couple advice for you Phoebe" Piper smiled as she exited the moanor.
"Jeez...this is annoying..." Phoebe stomped uptairs to the attic followed slowly by Cole. "They're always saying stupid things..." Phoebe signed.
"You know they're just teasing you...plus it was fun to be in the middle of a Halliwell war..." Cole humoured.
"Easy said than done..." Phoebe groaned, opening her little book of spells. "What are we supposed to be doing? Oh yeah...ok first living arrangements..." Phoebe quickly changed from one subject to another.
"...What's the matter?" Cole asked in concern.
"...Nothing...What makes you think that? Everything's fine..." Phoebe said with her high lying voice.
"Ok...i won't bother asking then...." Cole signed in defeat.
"Really? Ok now what we were doing..." Phoebe tried remembering.
"...That dress...really look's good on you..." Cole complimented.
"...Really? Thanks..." Phoebe smiled in joy.
"Ok...the living arrangements concern...Derrick and Kyra... have already got a place to stay in my house...Tarkin can temporarily stay there too if you want?" Cole asked.
"...Ok...That's of course if you don't mind...something tell's me that he obviously get's annoyed at us guys..." Phoebe referred to herself and her sisters.
"He...doesn't exactly hate witches...he's kinda had a bad past with them, it's kind of complicated...It's kind of similar to Derrick...but this story isn't as pleasant you see...." Cole mumbled.
"Why what happened to the witch?" Phoebe questioned.
"Tarkin...killed her...i can explain his past is completely different from who he is...the same with me and the other demons...but it's not Tarkin's fault...that witch lead him to the brotherhood..." Cole explained.
"Ok...tell me...exactly what happened...." Phoebe commanded.
"Well i will...if...." Cole tried compromising.
"...If?" Phoebe asked.
"You...give me a kiss..." Cole smirked, earning a oh my gosh face from Phoebe.
"W...what? You serious? Your....k...kidding...right? Cole!" Phoebe paced, and stuttered as she blushed.
"...Im kidding...just wanted to see your reaction....ok i'll tell you...that was funny...ok...what was i saying?" Cole cluelessly asked.
"You were about to tell me...why Tarkin...is not very fond of witches..." Phoebe said with interest.
(Sorry...i haven't been on in awhile i had GCSE exams, i had to study for)

Hey, not a problem. Hope you came out with good results. Though, Piper couldn't have left the manor just now cause we're still at Saint Callobays.
Btw, what year is the story taking place in right now, exactly?
"Oh. Oh yeah," Cole let out as it came to him again what he was talking about. "First off, show of hands: who was always under the impression Tarkin had a typical demonic upbringing?"
Derrick and Kyra quickly raised their hands, as did Phoebe.
"Well, then, I'm sorry to disappoint you," Cole continued.
"Not so much disappointing," Derrick corrected him. "Just a little unexpected."
"Same," Kyra agreed straight to the point.
"Well, here's the real surprise; I actually did, but it took more than that for me to end up traveling a straight path to demonic prominence," Tarkin started. The others, except for Cole, looked at him a little quizzically. "In my original killing days I wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, nor the shiniest. But I was a fairly decent demonic assassin, making my rounds in the New England area. There was one witch, though, named Nicalyn, who lived at a farmhouse in Brooklinne, Massachusetts. I was asked to track Nicalyn down and kill her by a well-regarded demon gang whose exploits she constantly interfered with. I laid one of my better traps for her, thiking this would be my opportunity to rise up in the ranks of the Underworld. However, she managed to foil my plan and not only escape, but nearly kill me.
"I took it personally," he continued, "and so I made it my mission to eliminate this witch. Unfortunately, time and time again she would prove her prowess beyond mine, constantly foiling my plan and sometimes coming narrowly short of vanquishing me. Eventually, it got to the point the demon gang members decided to offer their help. Their interference often backfired just the same, which I considered unacceptable, and eventually each member that involved themselevs and failed to kill Nicalyn or die by her hand would be killed by me."
"It was around this time that the wear and tear of demon fighting was starting to take its toll on her, and suddenly I knew that I had Nicalyn where I wanted her, but also that I couldn't let those gangsters take the joy away from me," he went on.
"Oh, so now's the part where you, of all people, start growing feelings for this witch?" Phoebe guessed with some disbelief in her voice.
"More like for the chase. I wanted to take her out for myself. The gang was becoming an growing nuisance as far as I was concerned," Tarkin corrected Phoebe. "So at times, when a gang member would offer his assistance, I would allow him to take over, only so I could kill him from behind when he thought he had the witch. Oddly enough, I found myself slipping into a role of Nicalyn's demonic protector, and it strangely became addictive. Mainly because it was something else, though my successfully killing again had to do with it as well.
"Unfortunately, shortly after the entire gang had been eradicated and I'd taken to actively protecting her, a coven of witches from my past was able to find me. A coven who I'd ravaged and reduced to half its numbers mere weeks before ever being assigned to Nicalyn," Tarkin detailed. "And when she saw me confronting this coven, instead of returning the favor for the help I gave her and warding them off, she was easily coerced by them into stopping me. She actually told me to my face that she had to because letting me go would shatter 'everything she stood for'- as if I hadn't made that exact same sacrifice for her sake based only on a whim.
"I felt insulted. Angry. Incensed. And for the first time in what would seem like ages, I fought the witch. I fought her, along with the coven of complete strangers she cared so much to aid over the very reason she was still alive," he elaborated. "Nicalyn almost killed me aga in the end, coming even closer than ever before, but then Belthazor came to my rescue and eliminated the coven."
"Can I do a 'fill-in-the-blanks' exercise for the ending here?" Kyra interruped to offer, eager for this to be finished at last.
"Just let it happen, Tarkin," Cole counseled before the fuzzy-haired enforcer could continue.
"Thanks. Now, you can correct me if I mess up somewhere, Tarkin, but here it is: Cole came to tell you the Source of All Evil was waiting for your dark side to come back so you could join the Brotherhood of the Thorn, then took you to that smug jerk Vornac, who gave you the typical sales pitch about the Brotherhood being the Source's direct hit mafia and got you to do that blood oath thing, right?" Kyra guessed. Cole and Tarkin looked at each other in visible surprise.
"Wow. She is good," Tarkin marveled, to which Derrick and Kyra looked to each other and then chuckled.
Meanwhile, inside the manor, Prue and Paige were engaged in conversation, still not completely fixed about Phoebe's recovery idea.
"I don't know about you, but I'm still just a little uneasy about not attacking Raynor right now while we still have the chance," Prue expressed. "I mean, why give him time until he tries something again?"
"I know, but we did have one crazy hell of a night last night, and that's on top of what happened to Derrick just today already," Paige reasoned. "Think of this as an opportunity to recharge our batteries, get back to the lives we're trying to defend here, and come back a little later ready to go and maybe… with a good plan."
"Right. Still, if you get any ideas or if something happens here, you've got to call me. Got it?" Prue insisted.
"Yeah, yeah, okay, gotcha," Paige nonchalantly replied. "But don't try and pull me out just as soon as you start thinking about it. Remember, I just got into this whole teaching Magic School thing, what, two weeks ago? I don't need Gideon getting mad at me already."
"And you still haven't let even our sisters ever see this Magic School," Prue reminded her.
"That's because Gideon won't let me show you," Paige answered. "And to be honest, I don't know why I'm not completely annoyed by what he does. Two years ago, the guy wakes up my powers and tells me that I'm a witch. Last year he tells me I'm not only a witch, but a Charmed One, then he gets me to meet Piper and Phoebe at the back of the club in order to constitute me into it."
"Oh, so that was you I saw walking away that night last year when they were in the back alley at P³ and it was glowing?" Prue realized.
"You got out there that fast and didn't call me? I'm hurt," Paige contended.
"I'm not guilty. They're the ones who told me not to worry about it," Prue said in her own defense.
"Great. Back to Gideon," Paige segued abruptly. "And now, two weeks ago, he comes to me, thinking I'm this expert on the subject or something, and convinces me to become one of the teachers at Magic School. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful to know you guys, but I don't know why he's adding something to my plate every year."
"I don't know. Maybe this guy's hoping you become some sort of successor to him or something," Prue speculated. "But if I'm right, don't just blindly follow. You have to really ask yourself if that kinda thing is really where you want to be going."
"Maybe you're right. And it is something to think about a little later down the line," Paige stated. "But, now's not the time to think about that. Right now, I gotta go teach, and you gotta go photograph. I'm glad you're a cool sister, Prue, but this conversation's gonna have to continue later tonight. See ya!" And on that note, Paige abruptly just orbed out. Prue could only smile and shake her head, wondering what fun (or headache) this new sister would eventually bring on as she headed out the back of the Manor and went to her car.
