(flower-power-music of the 60's for example is great, too.) you can call me Ramona btw

My husband listens to a wide range of music from death metal (some scares me to death) to his favorite Genesis. But I will listen to any thing. One of my favorites besides Air Supply(obviously) is Bobby Darrin (Mac the Knife) I also love Allan Sherman (you may have to ask your grandparents about him)(he wrote Hello Mudda,Hello Fadduh ,a.k.a as the Camp Granada song). I grew up listening to them with my mom, and have come to appreciate the humor. btw: you can call me gloria or glo

I also like metal but death metal is too extreme for me. (You are right: it really can scare to death I'm more for the orchestral or rather epic metal. Aww, Genesis is great (just like Phil Collins himself). I think I really have to ask my grandparents about Allan Sherman because I actually have never heard of him before^^ Some of my favourites are the Scorpions, Melissa Etheridge, Meat Loaf, Cat Stevens, Tracy Chapman, Simon & Garfunkel, Bonnie Tyler, Mike Oldfield and so many more - omg, if I just start once I cannot stop counting...there is just too much good music in this world, lol. Your name is very beautiful!

well,Thank you for the compliment(on my name)! All the bands you listed I've got (if I dont it's likely my husband has it,he collects all kinds of music cds in fact the room i am in is wall to wall cds) (I collect movies) one of my favorites to listen to is Hooked on Classics(my mom bought it way back in the early 1980's and I still listen to it) So I don't only listen to Air Supply I listen to a variety of things they just happen to be my all time favorite. But the first time I heard death metal my husband and I were dating about a month and he was driving me home, and he turned it on without warning me and I dozed off in the car and it literally scared the life out of me. (It was Sisters of Mercy) it was like being in a creepy haunted house. After that he had to tell me what he was going to be listening to. ;D

you're welcome!
what you said about your husband sounds as if he had a lot in common with my father, lol. because my father also collects music and he has a lot of CDs and recordings, too. when you mentioned Hooked on Classics I didn't know what you mean in the beginning. But i googled it and found The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra which I know very well. I have 7 CDs of them (e.g. Rock Dreams, Wild Dreams ...) I've been listening to the "wild dreams" so often that the CD became thinner and thinner until it was almost completely transparent - that was when I realized that I should make a backup copy, lol. your first meeting with death metal sounds funny ;D

Yeah, alot of people like that story because it scared the crap out of me, and I don't scare easily! But like your dad my husband(Kevin)also has a lot of rare hard to find stuff in music, and rare recordings, vinyl records. I have to say I love the photo you have as you banner. Your gonna laugh but I have this thing with Gnomes. It goes back a few years when I saw a movie with "evil" Gnomes. I LOVE 'EM! They just crack me up every time I see one! So I love your garden!

Hi Brandyspaw; I'm new here, having found this site while Googling something else, as I often do! I think we have a lot in common, judging by your posts: I, too, am Wiccan (17 years solitary); we are close in age (I'm 36); we're both Sagittarians; & Air Supply is my favorite band! I was woondering if your were at all familiar with Graham Russell's rock opera "Heart of the Rose"? It's very Pagan, not to mention beautiful & tear-jerking! I've been suspicious of some closet Paganism there since "The Earth Is..." What do you think? Blessings, PhantomRose
