hi me and my husband have been together since we were 15 (we are almost 40 now ) the thing is my brother's still dont like him , he is a great husband , and father to our 4 kids so i dont know what the problem is but when we are all together things can get a bit tense , any advice guys

Well, first of all I'd say you should talk with your brothers about it, but I guess you already have.
It might be helpful to know why they don't like him. Answers like "I just don't like him, the whole him" don't count, lol ^^ Ask for real reasons... maybe it's some habits which drive them crazy...

1st thanks for the fast reply , i dont know what bad habits he has lol but then he is my soul m8 , he does'nt even smoke . but thanks for the advice , if u could think of anything else please let me know because its gone on for a long time and not very nice for us . thanks hun julie x

Hi Julie, I think that it's great that you found you soul mate at such a young age and that your relationship has last for many years. Bad habits are just what they sound like,bad habits. But those habits can not be addressed if you dont know what they are. If your brothers are not giving you specific reasons how do they expect those issues to be fixed? Everyone has bad habits of some kind, I never met a person who didn't have at least one bad habit. And you may be right, it just might be that you were a young girl when "took you " away from home. But your a big girl now and unless you huband is abusive (which I doubt) they need to get over it. I would rather my sister be with someone with bad habits than with someone who would abuse her. If I could help let me know. We have more in common than you think. ;D

i think that sometimes love may take you away from your family a bit but i think your brothers should understand how he makes you feel have you tried talking to them x

hi yeah i spoke to them , they would'nt tell me what the problem was so i just asked them to be happy for me and respect the fact that we are happily married and the he treats me very good thanks for your help
