Note: This does not directly involve me, rather, it involves a good friend. Doubt me, ask Rabecca.
Ok, so I belong to this one site. This girl has been causing trouble as of late. She has kinda been rallying a couple against the site. Part of the problem is the person doing this is a former mod. She and the admin had what could be classified as a relationship, then they kinda 'fell out' and it has been a site war basically. I know my side, and have told the admin to just forget her. Her life would be a lot better withough the former mod in her life(yes, she is a lesbian if you didn't figure it out lol) and so far I have been proven right.
I want some other advice as well. Help me help a friend?

Ask her how she can care for someone she's never personally met. . . . . . never turns out well any way right Lance?

I am not worried about me. I am worried for my friend. But she is more worried Meg will try and worm her way back into the site and her life and mess things up.
And Kelsey, I'll leave Rebecca to deal with you dragging our personal issues unrelated to the matter. Her and Adam are sorely disappointed you did not email them back anyway. I am sure she'd love to chat with you.
And on a side note, they have met on several occasions.

Yes, I am double-posting. I apologize in advance, but I figured a follow-up would be nice. And I do want some opinions.
Ok, the situation to-date is the person made a new site, Tiric, to try and get back at WoM(the site I'm on.) Good news is that it is failing. Most of her members are either on both and have a great loyalty to WoM so they RP there more or are drifters. Bad news is we found out the defector has been cyber-stalking WoM. We banned the IPs she possesses, so now she is trying to get one of our staff to get our admin to unban her and let her rejoin. I am against it myself because I feel some people are more trouble than they are worth, and she most defiantly is that. Any opinions or comments please?

I honestly don't have too much advice as far as the situation goes, but I do know a lot about forums. And about making it very difficult for a member to get back on. I am not sure how much trouble you may end up having attempting to keep this member away. I've had a lot of trouble in the past with different members that have caused problems. So if you need any help figuring out anything forum related, let me know and I will be happy to help you out in this way. I do have one question though. You said that she is trying to get people to convince your admin to let her back. So I assume this is something the admin is considering doing? If her convincing a different staff member to let her back is a problem, you could always take away the power to ban a member from the other staff member's accounts. You can take away that one power without taking away the rest. If the real problem with this is convincing the admin not to let her back, really all you can do is try to talk to her. Give her your side of the story. If you need any forum advice, and can definitely help you out there so don't hesitiate to ask

Good news is the guy she was trying to convince to get my friend to unban her has declared neutrality and won't listen to anything to do with it. And the admin's been strong against letting her back on. It gets quite funny though. Every time we ban her IP, she goes and gets a new one. So she has been stalking the site. Good news is her new IPs barely change numbers(by 1 digit) and are easy to track. Just having her stalk Mystic(the site) is kinda creepy.

Believe me, I understand lol. I've been there. We've had members that would keep coming back with new IP addresses as well. Not so fun There is actually a good solution to your problem though. Since this member only gets her IP address changed by one digit, you should be able to ban all of her IP address (future and old) at once. I believe if you replace the number that keeps changing with a *, it will work. I did this in the past, I'll just have to check up on how to do it again if that doesn't work. Give that a try though.

Well, this situation resolved. Person tried to make a similar site, failed, and can't do a thing to the site. I say win all round.
