Do you people know the WEBSITE not the Board! of hollymcombs.com and shannen-doherty.net ?? It has Virusses/spyware on it..... People who have AVG 8.0 Will see the virus! Who don't will see the infectation and destroying work of the virus! Okay i will explain how both websites got the virus/spyware! When you have been infected by spyware/viruses on your computer and you have your website uploaded by FTP the hacker/virus can see that and make it's way trough your website and infects it! If you have been on both websites these days your computer may be infected by an Trojan Downloader! It's an virus that works trough all of your files on it own! People who have Norton or other virus/spyware programs could be infected now by an Trojan Downloader! From what i have learned at school! Trojans can only be founded by AVG Free 8.0 !!!! Other programs do not warn you about the virus on your computer! Virusses work when they want! If your program is not UPDATED for 1 day! It detroys your computer in 3 days! If yoou go on vacation! And your computer is not standby! It still goes on the networkcable and goes to the rest of the computer! Val I hope you have AVG! And not another program or else you will have to say goodbye to your computer soon!

I'm sorry Simymonna, but I truly don't believe that these are the sites that gave your computer the virus.
And yes, I have AVG. And my virus scanner has caught NOTHING from these sites. My computer is completely fine.
Many many many sites use FTP. It is used as a way to upload a lot of images quickly (instead of uploading each one idividually).
Soooo many people go on these websites every day. I know you think that most people only go on the forums, but there are many people who search for Shannen & Holly's official sites every day. And also many that go to the boards through the official websites. And they don't seem to be having any problems. These sites are very popular, so if they were giving out viruses it would be very well known. New travels fast.
There are many ways to get a Trojan Downloader. So you can not be 100% sure that you got it from Shannen-Doherty.Net and HollymCombs.Com.
Those are both very reliable sites, and I don't believe that they would be carefree enough to have it crashing tons of computers. If it was crashing every computer that went on it (that doesn't have AVG), then there would be thousands of computers crashed every day. Something like that would be VERY well known.

I'm sorry, but I don't see how this proves anything. But I can't read it since it's not in English, so I can't be sure.
But what I CAN see is that you got popups about a threat. I never got a popup and I have AVG as well. And it also looks like you weren't even able to get onto HollymCombs.com, while I was able to.
I really believe that my computer is going to be fine since I have been on those websites many times in the past. I've never had any problems with them, and I still am not.

Yes, I can see the resident shield alert. But in your screencap the Resident Shield Alert popped up over your MSN. Not the HollymCombs website.
And the windows internet explorer (the one you translated) only says that you cannot open up HollymCombs.com. It doesn't actually specify that it is related to the Alert.
I'm not saying that it definitely isn't, I'm just saying that I can't actually tell from the screencap.
And as I said, I am able to get on the website while you are not.
So apparently there are differences with whatever is going on with our computers...

You said that you can not get on the website, you said you can get on the forum right? PM her on there.
And I don't know why it is effecting your site, but it's not having any effect on mine.

If you want a link to the forum, here it is: www.holly.proboards1.com/index.cgi?I have not had any problems viewing the main site, and it has been a while since I viewed it and my computer is still fine. I don't know what happened to your computer, but I haven't had any problems with those sites.
