I'm very sad to announce the Lifetime has decided not to go forward with "Mistresses" (the show Holly was set to star in). Apparently Lifetime was down to three shows, and "Mistresses" was one of the two that got dropped. This news comes from "Hollywoodreporter.com" which is a reliable source. The article focuses on the show that got picked up ("Drop Dead Diva"), but there is a note at the end about "Mistresses". Here is the article: -------------------------------------------------------
Lifetime has picked up comedic drama "Drop Dead Diva" to series.
The network has ordered 12 episodes of the show starring Brooke Elliott for a summer premiere.
Created by Josh Berman and produced by Sony Pictures TV, "Drop Dead Diva" centers on a beautiful-but-vapid model wannabe who, after dying in a car accident, is reincarnated in the body of Jane Bingum (Elliott), a brilliant, thoughtful and overweight attorney.
"It's the type of show that truly enhances the Lifetime brand -- the duality of emotionally compelling drama with an equal balance of humor," said Lifetime's exec vp JoAnn Alfano said.
Berman is exec producing with Craig Zadan and Neil Meron of Storyline Entertainment.
"Diva" was one of several pilots in contention at Lifetime, along with "Mrs. Novak" and "Mistresses." The other two are not going forward.

It is such a bummer I really hoped it was gonna get picked up so we'd get to enjoy Holly in another series It's such a shame. I hope she'll do more projects so atleast one will be picked up.

I really hope so too. I'm such a shame, I know the show would've been great. I'm so disappointed.
I hope she decides to do another project soon. I'd love to see her in something again.

I don't really watch Lifetime, so I probably wouldn't watch it until I heard reviews saying it was awesome and Holly was as stunning as ever, but I'm pretty sure I would find some of those reviews. So this is sort of a bummer. I think she'll be able to get back up, though, and get picked up for something.

I think so too, but the question really is if she'll want too. I know she has said that she coudl see herself being a stay at home mom, and although I completely respect that, selfishly I want her to be in another TV show or movie lol.

NOOOOOOOO! My hands are shaking and I am literaly crying right now! I read this on Finley Arthur Donoho.com and I was in complete shock! I was so excited to finaly see Holly in something new, and Lifetime pulls this? I can't believe it!
And "Drop Dead Diva" is similar to two shows that are on tv right now! And I cant remeber the names right now because I am too upset! But "Mistresses" is something completely new!
This is just rediculous!
