Do you think Cole could have prevented himself from becoming the source of evil?

It wasn't really his fault he became the source of evil because it simply pounced on him, but when that whole thing started he noticed something was wrong with him and he could have told Phoebe for example.

Well I agree with you. He should have told Phoebe sooner. She made this potion for him and if he hadnt killed that woman or was it a man? Well if he hadnt killed the person he had changed back to human. And Phoebe had made the potion sooner so he had changed back to human.
